With more than 25 years in the pharma industry Udo´s focus has been in the rare disease environment for the last 15+ years. Udo has specialized in setting up operational organizations dedicated to orphan drugs and niche products.
Before becoming partner of BlueDil, Udo founded Dr. Werner Medical Solutions in 2012, a consulting company dedicated to support teams and organizations operating in the orphan sector in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Between 2007 and 2012 he served as General Project Manager Central Europe for BTG plc (former Protherics). From 2002 to 2007 Udo was Managing Director of We-R Immune GmbH, a pharmaceutical wholesaler and consultancy company in Göttingen, Germany.
Entering the pharmaceutical industry in 1991, Udo was holding marketing/sales positions with Pfizer and EuroCetus in Germany and thereafter internationally at Chiron Europe and Maxim Pharmaceuticals.
Doctor in chemistry, graduated of the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen, Sales, Marketing and Management Courses at MCE Brussels; repeated trainings on GmbH management (GmbH-Geschäftsführer) according to German law.
